OFFICIAL RULES 1) Eligibility – Offered to those shopping at participating businesses in WESTERN OKLAHOMA. No purchase necessary. Contestants must be at least 18 years old. Contestants can only register at businesses in Western Oklahoma whom are participating in the Hog Wild Summer Promotion. Participating business owners, participating business management, Wright Wradio employees, and their household family members are not eligible. Employees can not register for the Harley Davidson motorcycle at their place of employment but are eligible to register at all other participating businesses. By participating, both the contestants and the businesses agree to these official rules and the decisions of the Wright Wradio, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the promotion.
2) How to Participate – The promotion begins May 26, 2008, and concludes August 30, 2008. Wright Wradio will deliver the motorcycle to participating businesses. Contestants can register at the participating business where the motorcycle is located. Listen to the ZOO for the location of the motorcycle and for the business where you can register and/or view the Hog Wild Calendar located on KCDL.com. One registration per person, per business, per visit. However, participants can register at each participating business. The motorcycle will be located at a participating business for one week and while the motorcycle is located at that participating business contestants may register at that location. At the end of each week The Zoo will broadcast live from that participating business. At the completion of our remote broadcast , we will draw 2 winners who will each receive a certificate redeemable for one key, T-Shirt and prize from the participating business. CONTESTANTS MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!!! The winners from that business will also need to be present with their certificate on August 30, 2008, at Granny Annies Amish Furniture and Janning Welding (918 Van Buren, Elk City) at 12:00 pm, NOON, for a chance to start the Harley Davidson Motorcycle. One winner per household. 30 total certificates will be given out at participating business as previously described above. The names of all winners presenting certificates on August 30, 2008, will be placed in a box and names will be drawn at random to determine order to select a key. The first name drawn will select a key and the drawing will continue until a key starts the motorcycle. The contestant with the first key to start the motorcycle will be the winner of the Harley Davison motorcycle. If all keys fail to start the motorcycle, there will be a random drawing of the winners for the motorcycle and the first name drawn will be the winner.
3) Claiming Prizes – If a contestant is not present at the time their name is drawn, we will continue to draw names for a winner until someone is present at that participating business. At the final giveaway, on August 30, 2008, if one of the previous winners of a certificate is not present, that absent winner forfeits their opportunity to be included in the drawing for a chance to win the motorcycle and no additional contestants will be chosen to replace the absent winner.
4) Odds of Winning – Odds of winning depend on the number of contestants. Any and all taxes that might result from winnings are the sole responsibility of each individual winner. As required by Federal and State law, the winner of the motorcycle will receive a 1099 tax form from Wright Wradio with an approximant value of $6,000.
5) General Conditions – Where permitted by law, winners must grant to Wright Wradio, and those acting pursuant to Wright Wradio’s direction or control, the right to print, publish, broadcast and use, worldwide or in any media now known or hereafter developed including but not limited to the Internet, at any time or times, the winner’s name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness and biographical information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without additional consideration and without notice, review or approval. Further, winners will be required to complete, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and where lawful a Publicity Release within the time specified. If the documents are not returned timely, or if a winner is found not to have complied with these Official Rules, or is ineligible for any reason, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner to be determined by random drawing of remaining eligible winners. Winner may be required to provide proof of eligibility, as deemed appropriate, prior to the award of a prize. By participating, contestants release and hold harmless Wright Wradio, its respective partners, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, for any and all injury, loss or damage of any kind to persons (including, without limitation, property damage, bodily injury and/or death), arising directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from or in conjunction with the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, participation in this giveaway or any giveaway related activity. Wright Wradio shall be the sole arbiter of eligibility-compliance with rules, and determination of winner. The winner of the motorcycle agrees to accept the motorcycle AS IS and without any warranties.
